Siege warfare

This weekend involved a visit to North Berwick, amongst other things playtesting Tony's Napoleonic siege rules.

I''m hoping to do a mini-series of posts on siege wargaming (among which I refere you to an earlier post of a Paddy Griffith article in Minaiture Warfare here)

Meanwhile as an experiment I have set up a slide show from our playtesting.

Really nice slide show -- a successful experiment I'd say!

I like that slideshow - very good progression and good timing. I'm very interested in reading your posts on the Siege rules. Nice Vauban fort! Dean

Excellant slide show. Interesting report on how your game advanced.

Very nice slide show and report, only thing
I can take (minor) issue with is there should be
allot more ruble simulated (perhaps with brown felt?)that would at very least be considered rough ground to the attacker? Just a thought.

this was a play test for the rules so not in full aesthetic mode...
