Old figures, old rules, old scenery, old articles, old reviews, and old wargamers.
Not old school. Just old.
Never seen the buildings, I've always wondered what they were like.
Great to see those old 15mm strips again, I bought many of them and recall being impressed by the level of detail etc. Looking at that advert today they still look good to me.I think Hinchliffe also produced a 15mm range on strips around that time, called system 15 or something like that? Anyone remember those?Great blog, always something of interest to the wargamer of a certain vintage!Lee.
Will - please see next post. I thought I had already posted this somewhere before, either here or on The Lone S Ranger, but i can't find itClive
Wasn't Hinchliffe System 12? Won't pretend to be certain about that!
Yep, System 12 - short lived as they tended to break off at the ankles
Ah yes, it was 'system 12'. They must have introduced it as a rival scale to 15mm?
Wow. The first miniatures I ever painted were Minifigs 15mm strips ECW. I thought that cutting up the strips was a pain, but I rather liked the figures. I wish they were still available.
