I played with Bish Iwaszko in 1969 and 1970 at his Richmond offices/home. The table was about the size of a table tennis table and at chest height. The scale was sort of logarithmic so you had infantry moving 10cm = 100m; but could still have artillery fire say 8000 metres.The computer game Sudden Strike looks to me most like the games with Bish - and in fact got me back into wargames after 30 year gap.David Tallboys
