I think one line of the article may have been lost (at the crease) in the scans - hope you can fill the sense in if so. I am particularly glad to see the reference to the dangers of tie wearing - please see Tony Bath post below.
I saw this RAF game displayed in Bath, can't remember the year, but I remember a lot of crude conversions were in use to make up numbers. e.g. Airfix Guards Colour party with bearskins trimmed down to shakos. There was an article in the local Bath Chronicle at the time, but I don't have a copy.
