Creative Clay Modelling, from Practical Wargamer ~9 Autumn 1989
A recent burst of activity on the Crimean War Wargame Rules Yahoo Group reminded me of this inspirational article by Rod Robinson in an early edition (number 9) of Practical Wargamer magazine. I was inspired by it, but never tried it myself.
I remember having a go - unfortunately my attempts were more suitable as 'dead markers' than front line warriors!
ReplyDeleteYes, I tried it too. My attempts weren't even suited as "dead markers". I was tempted to make a HOTT "Blob" army out of them. In the end SWMBO thought they were leftovers and threw them out.

I was doing Ok till he said Airfix sized. That's awfully fiddly for fimo! 40mm maybe.
