I was quite young at the time it was being developed but if I can answer any questions I'm happy to. He was the same Hirstle who designed posters for film campaigns in the 1960s, and one half of the Feref-Hirstle partnership.

Regards,

Will HirstleAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03879565922849347964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3399255049115922694.post-70922779842085742872021-01-24T07:50:37.123+00:002021-01-24T07:50:37.123+00:00Well I have only just found this through Grymauchs...Well I have only just found this through Grymauchs Solo Wargaming blog.

This is a really good blog and a good subject so hopefully it will keep going.

Regards PeterPeter Littlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09664350158453065725noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3399255049115922694.post-78407817037708503822020-07-12T05:30:28.528+01:002020-07-12T05:30:28.528+01:00About 20 years ago, in conversation with Bob Jones...About 20 years ago, in conversation with Bob Jones, it turned out that he was the US distributor for Warplan 5/5!Gonsalvohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16531623280789478092noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3399255049115922694.post-34975006654985044862020-06-02T21:42:07.646+01:002020-06-02T21:42:07.646+01:00I wish I could get a copy of the rules. I and several war game friends were lucky enough to 'plunk down' the funds for a set of either the horse and musket or the 'modern' map set and all the booklets, forms, etc. We are in fact using them this year in an imagination campaign; the fifth outing using the cards since 1975.pancernihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09108442113999809459noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3399255049115922694.post-72620859891743860272020-01-27T08:40:23.734+00:002020-01-27T08:40:23.734+00:00I have a couple of really old Mil Mod's dating...I have a couple of really old Mil Mod's dating from my entry to the hobby - I'll check them out later..
